Department of Children & Family Services 2nd Annual Fun Run at Chennault Park October 22

Thursday, October 20, 2016 - 4:30pm

WHAT: Mayor Jamie Mayo and the Monroe City Council are proud to join the Department of Children & Family Services and the Family Resource Center to invite the public and media to the 2nd annual Fun Run.

Participants are encouraged to wear SUPER HERO themed costumes.  The goal is to raise awareness of the importance of SUPER HERO Foster and Adoptive Parents to our community. All proceeds will support children currently in foster/adoptive care.  Medals will be awarded to the top three racers in each division. 

WHEN: 8 am Saturday, October 22nd 

WHERE: Chennault Park Monroe, 8475 Millhaven Road, Monroe, LA 71203

REGISTRATION: Visit www.childrenscoalition.org or at the Children’s Coalition of NELA, located at 1363 Louisville Avenue.   Registration is:  $15 (Individuals), $10 (Teams of 10+), and Foster Children & Kids under age 5 can participate for FREE.
